John Edwards is the Developer of El Astillero Resort. The vision is to develop this magnificent property in an environmentally sensitive, energy-efficient manner.

Mr. Edwards is a Canadian-based businessman, property manager, and real estate developer. John has had extensive experience with operating a successful property/rental management business in international environments, specifically in the USA, Nicaragua, and Europe. John has been an investing partner in El Astillero Resort since its inception in 2006 and continues to play an active role in the conceptual development of the property. He also is instrumental in facilitating the ongoing development of the project. While living part of the year in Nicaragua at Rancho Santana, John also currently has his home in Southern Alberta where he lives with his wife Evelyn. John and Evelyn have 8 children and 13 grandchildren.
